First Look At The New BMW 5 Series Saloon
” It has been a long time coming, but finally BMW have revealed there brand new 5 Series saloon, and on first impressions it seems very impressive.
The car is in essence a 7 series but more compact, it does lack the awesome V12, but to be honest you won’t miss it. BMW have really done us proud with this model, with it’s sexy interior and gorgeous panels it is definitely a looker, but what’s under the hood? I hear you say.
The New engine is a 2.0 litre turbo diesel that kicks out a hefty 184bhp, and suprisingly does 56.5mp
g which is good for a beamer. There are a shed load of options available including an 8 speed auto gearbox, a swish hard drive multimedia system, also an electronic chassis with built in anti roll and four wheel adaptive steering.
One thing I will say about it though is although it is very fuel efficient, and looks nice, it just seems very samey to the rest of the BMW’s in the range, it doesn’t stand out as much as I would like, but hey that’s just my opinion, all in all it looks fantastic, but the real test is in the test 
drive, so keep an eye out on top gear in the coming weeks.
