Honda Civic Type R ‘Mugen Edition’
”Honda have really pulled there fingers out this year, The Mugen concept was only unveiled 3 months ago, and they have already put it on general release! now that is quick.
I first saw this on top gear and I loved the look of it. Similar cars such as the Ford Focus ST and the Fiesta ST look a bit boy racerish, but I have and always will find the Civic Type R a cool sleek and sexy car with a delicate mix of performance and style, it is kind of like a pikey wearing an Armani suit, it has attitude and a bit cocky but always presents himself well when going to visit Grandma.
Mugen have really pushed the boat out on this one, they will actually tailor it to your exact requirements, you will be closely involved with its build, and engineers will be contacting you all the time, which is fantastic, and makes you feel important, which you are, all blokebuddy readers are important

Engine wise, Mugen have tweaked the hell out of the already exemplary 2 litre, and notched it up to a whopping 
237bhp and 157lb ft of torque, which is an extra 39bhp on the original engine! Mugen have also replaced the suspension to fit stiffer, more responsive type.
It is expensive, costing upwards of 38k, but you do get alot of bang for your buck, plus how many car makers do you know that will work so closely whilst building your perfect car? not many. If I had the money I would definitely get one, but then, I would get a lot of things, like a horse made of gold and a drawbridge as a front door to my massive house, but hey we can all dream!
