” OK so it’s Sunday afternoon your pissed off anyway because you have to go into work the next day, then the wife begs you to mow the lawn (to which you reluctantly agree) we have all been there before right?

I cant stand mowing the lawn, I get fed up with it half way, but I know I cant leave it otherwise it will look stupid like a half finished hair cut so I have to trudge on comforted only by the cold glass of lager I took with me. It has been a long standing tradition that men take great pride in there lawn but really f***ing hate maintaining it, so the answer to grassy bliss is this bitch of a lawn mower.

Start mowing the lawn with the crappy flymo as usual for a couple of weeks, but do a real shoddy job, and every time she looks out the kitchen window place your hand on the small of your back and wince but make out you cant see her.

After a couple of weeks mention the ride on lawn mower, if she says its too expensive (which she will) just say ‘ok maybe your right’ then just drop it and keep struggling on each Sunday with the pain and I guarantee she will give in and let you get it. If none of this works you then have to put the foot down and just say ‘it’s my credit card so I’m getting the f***ing AYP 11.5hp Cut lawn tractor OK!!’
