” Sometimes mankind can come up with some amazing stuff, such as the cordless power drill, the electric toothbrush and the ball scratcher, but this thing takes TV watching to a whole new level, why? because you control the TV with a magic wand!

How stupidly, ridiculously fucking amazing is that, it’s so good I wish I had invented it, but how does it work? I hear you say.

Well to be honest I did just think it was a crappy wand shaped remote with the buttons placed somewhere on it, but no you actually wave the wand in a certain way to either change channel, adjust the volume and of course turn it off.

It takes a few practice runs to learn the basics, but once you have grasped the movements you can programme it to do everything your old remote can do. There are 13 different movements to learn, if you want to change channel you move it upwards or downwards, a turning movement will control the volume plus other various combinations.

It is simple to programme, all you do is put the wand into learning mode by tapping the shaft, perform the movement and then press the corresponding key on your remote, and by some harry potter style magicianry it remembers what the command is.

The coolest thing to me is that you are not limited to just your TV, you can programme it for anything that uses a remote, so you can sit down and command all your devices like some couch potato gandalf and everyone looking at you in awe.

What would make this device truly spectacular though is if you could command it to shut your wife up, and turn X factor into porn, but hey you can’t have everything can you.
