Weird New Internet Craze
” I spend quite a lot of time on the Internet it has to be said, and it never ceases to amaze me what weird and wonderful stuff you find hidden down the back of the world wide web, and today I introduce to you the latest craze…….bed jumping.
What it is in essence is random people taking photos of themselves jumping on beds in various hotels around the world, which they then upload to sites such as bedjump.com for all the other ‘bed jumpers’ to see.
The website says the art is in ”creating an exciting and entertaining hotel space” and features ordinary people in various mid air poses. This reminds me of a previous craze called the lying down game, which saw people taking pictures of themselves well…..lying face down in different places.
I think if the Internet was never invented, things like this would never happen, and the world would be a very boring and mundane place, I mean think about it, if your computer didn’t have Internet access, what would you do? I know what I would do, play solitaire for 5 minutes and turn it off.
As crazy as it sounds and looks I think it’s brilliant, it shows the world that we can all have a crazy wild time that doesn’t cost the earth, it is the simple things in life that are the most fun.”
