New Porsche Made Me Go ‘Ooooh’
”This years Geneva motor show has unveiled some fantastic new cars, and some really bizarre concepts but the one car that really made me gawp was the brand spanking new Porsche 918 spyder, it is unlike any other Porsche I have ever seen, it is so good looking I want to bit my fist….but that’s not all what this car is about.
You see Porsche have proved with this car that you CAN have your cake and eat it. The spyder is a hybrid that can go quicker than a cheetah with a firework up it’s arse, doing 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, a top speed of 198MPH but still manages an incredible (and I still can’t get my head around it) 94MPG!?
The car is infested with technological advancements, such as a carbon fibre body to reduce weight, the engine is a petrol/electric hybrid with each of the 2 electric motors boasting 218BHP driving both the front and rear wheels, the petrol part of the engine is a V8 3.4litre, the brakes are fully ceramic and you can even have a full electric version of the car.
I am really impressed, I am not normally a Porsche fan as I think they tend to all look the same, but they have really turned this one up on it’s head and created something completely unique, could this car be the future of Porsche? who knows.”
Cost: around £300,000
Release: It is rumoured to be as early as 2012

Ah thanks dude, yeah it took a while to sort the slider out, as I wanted to split it in half with the tabber, had to go into the coding and adjust the CSS but I think it looks much better now.
That is easily the best looking Porsche ever. If only I had £300k….

Yeah, I’d class myself as anti-Porsche if anything, but this is impressive.
Still – give me a £300k now though and I’m pretty sure you’d find me in a Ferrari or Aston garage!
