Vieira Signs For Man City
”Manchester City have signed the former Arsenal player in a 6 month deal it was confirmed today. This will be city’s first signing since Roberto Mancini took over managing the club.
Apparently Mancini is said to be very pleased to have the midfielder on board and he will bring a much needed injection of experience into the club.
Mancini said this:
“Patrick is a world class midfielder with a winner’s mentality and will fit into this group very well, He knows me and my staff well, and importantly he also knows what the Premier League is all about. He will not need much time to settle in. Patrick is one of the great players of this era with almost every honour in the game against his name. I am sure City fans will welcome him warmly and appreciate the contribution he will make.” He told the clubs official website.
Vieira has done wonders for Arsenal, making 279 appearances and winning the premier league 3 times, I’m not certain what the financial side of things are but I expect he wasn’t cheap.
