Webber In Line For England Spot
”Saxon’s Hooker Rob Webb
er has signed a new 2 year deal in reward for his impressive form.
Rob 23 has captained the wasps against Gloucester, and has made 50 appearances since coming through the academy, and now webber is hoping to push himself into the full time England squad.
Rob is a superb player and is an incredibly talented hooker so he will go far. He had this to say:
“I’m really happy to have signed with Wasps for two more years, It’s a really good place to develop, learn, and be challenged with the quality of the players and the coaches at the club. There’s been a lot of change at the club over the last season and it has been a really positive environment, which I’ve enjoyed being a part of. I want to continue to be a part of that and, with the amount of opportunities I have already had with Wasps, I think this is a great environment for me to continue to develop and push for senior England honours over the next two years.”
I hope he makes the England squad before the next world cup, it’s about time we saw some fresh young talent that can help us deliver another victory.”
